Lake Country Area Agency on Aging is committed to improving the quality of life and maintaining the dignity of the older population and those who care about them. We look for the "best of the best" and hire the brightest and best candidates for our agency.

Our agency serves the elderly population in the counties of Mecklenburg, Halifax and Brunswick, allowing them to achieve a better quality of life and independence. We have served Southside Virginia since 1974. It is our agency's goal to enhance the quality of life for the aging population of the our community.

We are seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:

Certified Nurse Aide

CNA? Looking for more hours? Call LCAAA today! Offering hours of work in Brunswick and Mecklenburg counties. Duties include personal assistance, nutritional assistance and light housekeeping for elderly clients in their own homes. Must be able to maintain written records accurately. Lifting and bending required. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Weekend hours available too! Volunteers Needed!!

Lake Country Area Agency on Aging, serving many area senior citizens in various capacities, needs help in the central kitchen at the Hazelwood House in South Hill, Virginia. We need someone willing to help out in the kitchen, performing such tasks as dipping portions, closing meal trays, setting up the lunch table, etc. There are also other ways to lend a helping hand as we work to get meals ready for home delivery.

We are also are looking for volunteers to assist in our Transportation Department in riding with our drivers and assisting with home delivered meals.
